Peggy's Cove is famous for its lighthouse perched on rock and is one of the most photographed places in Canada. The lighthouse is Canada's only post office housed in a lighthouse, featuring its own stamp in the image of a lighthouse. Pier 21 National Historic Site first received immigrants starting in 1928 and closed its doors for good in 1971. The Maritime Museum of the Atlantic is conveniently located on the Halifax waterfront and contains authentic Titanic artifacts.
