Internship Preparation Program

The internship preparation program is open to new Canadians, LINC graduates, international work/study visa students, students preparing for business school, students preparing for career training, graduates preparing for work in English speaking workplaces, job seekers who need to improve their business English, job candidates who need Canadian work experience or Canadian work references.

The internship preparation program meets all of the current (2006) CIC immigration rules and regulations and provides a safe and highly qualified Canadian work experience for all internship participants.

The internship skills preparation program is a 15 hour per week part-time program and operates in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This program can be taken concurrent with the ESL in Canada Business English program.

Program Tuition is $ 600. per month.

• Research - internet, library, phone, in-person interviews
• Analysis - organize, calculate, summarize, information
• Reports - prepare and present data in written, multi-media formats
• Presentations - prepare and present oral reports to supervisors and managers
• Services - administration, advertising, public relations, consulting

• 3. Internet commerce: write business plan for internet marketing
• 4. Technology review: evaluate formats and platforms for internet business

• 7. Hydro generation: technology review for new technology
• 8. TV & Film School: project management report

ESL in Canada Diplomas:

Diplomas for beginner, intermediate and advanced English skills

Company letters of recommendation issued for successful work experience.

The beginner program is for students with less than advanced English and no business education or working experience. The intermediate program is for advanced English students with business education but no working experience. The advanced program is for students with advanced English, business education and working experience.

The principal of the ESL in Canada Internship School has managed in-house company training programs starting in 1983, has coordinated Government of Canada Funded Job training programs that started in 1985, Jobs Ontario training programs that started in 1995. The ESL in Canada internship training programs started in 1998 and has trained interns in Canada, in the USA and in Korea. This is the only Canadian internship training program with qualified Business teachers and with international internship training experience and placement experience.
